We are now officially ISO-certified!

As of October 6, 2014, ULF has been declared officially ISO certified by auditing body Certification International (CI).

The news was greeted with cheers from the ULF staff, who all actively took part in the audit conducted last September 22. During that final evaluation, the auditors determined conformity of the management system to specified requirements for certification, particularly to the ISO 9001:2008 which the foundation was vying for.

The areas audited were: customer-related process and satisfaction; designing health care; documentation for internal processes; convening partners; competence, training and awareness; purchasing; control of non-conforming product/service; internal audit; corrective and preventive actions; management responsibility; maintenance; infrastructure; and work environment.

The awarding of this ISO certification signifies that ULF’s management system is of quality; that its processes meet standards that will allow it to transact and expand with ease; and that the foundation’s stakeholders are reassured of transparency and efficiency in all its dealings.
